  Role Overview: As a Staff Platform Engineer, you will be instrumental in constructing the robust foundation needed to support the complex, rich functionalities of our client's platform. Your work ensures the performance, stability, and reliability of the systems that underpin this innovative virtual environment.

  Requirements

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop game services to support thousands of concurrent users within virtual offices.
  • Identify and rectify performance bottlenecks in any part of our service or storage layers.
  • Develop client-side SDKs that standardize application-backend interactions.
  • Take charge of debugging and resolving performance issues alongside customers.
  • Formulate and implement strategies for tuning, revamping, or entirely crafting new segments of our platform.
  • Mentor a team of engineers, elevating their technical prowess and cultivating a culture of excellence.
  • Engage closely with company leadership to influence strategic decisions and directions.

  What You Bring:

  • Significant expertise in TypeScript, or the ability to learn it rapidly.
  • A minimum of 8+ years' experience in domains critical to our operations, such as real-time gaming backends, computer graphics and rendering, TypeScript and React performance, or the development of extensible platform architectures.
  • Intuitive understanding of software design and code quality.
  • Self-driven with a strong capacity to address and solve complex problems autonomously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with solid technical leadership.
  • A growth mindset that is open to giving and receiving feedback constructively.
  • A proactive, action-oriented approach, comfortable with rapid execution and iterations.
